About Us
Hobart Dance Academy opened its doors in 1978 under the direction of the late Carolyn Stephens. Since then, Hobart Dance Academy has been helping students of all ages grow and develop into dancers, teachers and graduates.
Located in North Hobart , Hobart Dance Academy has 4 studios that offer a variety of classes for all ages.
Our primary objective is to undertake a training program of warm-ups and dance techniques that are fun, satisfying and of a standard that would enable HDA enrolled dancers to pursue dance at a professional level. A true triple threat school; dancers at HDA have the opportunity to perform several times a year at dance competitions, local events and our end of year concert.
